Engineer: While assigned to the
project, my responsibilities include but not limited to:
§
Supervision of the Installation, Testing and
Commissioning of 900MHz and 1800MHz BTS equipments
§
Integration and configuration of new BTS sites
into GSM Network
§
Testing and troubleshooting GSM equipment
including BCF, BTS and STF elements.
§
Microwave link and site connectivity trace.
§
Performing system cell sites preliminary
acceptance test (PAT) and handover all sites to
STC § E1 implementation and conduct end-to-end test.
§
Hands on testing and repair of newly installed
equipment, wiring and cross connect (DSX, SIEMENS DDF and BALUN for 75 to 120
Ohm converters for E1s).
§
RF Engineering (data analysis and all
functions related to call setup within
cells range) Tools : Test mobile (TEMs), spectrum analyzer, RF-Signal loop and
manufacture special test software Project :
GSM C&I Phase 1&2, Saudi Telecom Co., GSM NMS/OMC Engineer GSM-OMC (NMS) specialist on lucent provided BSS network
using NMS/HP UNIX based tools -as a contractor of Lucent Technologies
International Inc. (Formerly AT&T International) in the GSM project/NNCC
( Highlights:

Configuration management: status, creating,
modifying and deleting BSS objects, software administration, audits.
·
Fault Management: Substantial consultancies,
BSS alarms indicating abnormal conditions, alarms management functions, alarm
correlation, fault tracking records (FTR), support for external alarms and
reporting outages to both lucent management and Saudi tel. (STC) operations.
·
Performance management:
gathering, storing and analyzing performance measurements.
·
Preparing daily reports for
senior managers and instructing local staff in the use of monitoring tools. Project: GSM O&M, Lucent
